Our Team of Engineers provides a full range of engineering services related to stamping:
1. Pre-project work: includes the preparation of technical documentation for the manufacture of dies and checking fixtures. Without technical verification of die manufacturing standards and their subsequent approval between the Customer and the Tooling Manufacturer, it is impossible to proceed with further work.
2. Formability simulation in AutoForm. After receiving the mathematical models of the parts, we proceed with formability simulation, identify the main issues, request simulation reports from the Tooling Manufacturer, and compare our results. For simulations, we use special AutoForm settings (based on past project experience). These settings make it possible to detect formability issues where standard AutoForm settings cannot.
3. Process development. At this stage, our Team of Engineers develops the process for each part, and then we perform a technical analysis of the processes provided to us by the Tooling Manufacturer.

Drawing on past project experience, we typically reduce the required number of stamping operations from 5 to 4, or from 4 to 3. In addition, we identify which parts can be combined into a single die stream. At this stage, we deliver significant cost savings for the Customer.

4. After completing formability simulations and process development, we carry out a die design review and refinement (DDR — Die Design Review), correct errors, make improvements, and issue comments.

During the die design review, we identify comments and divide them into two groups: general and critical comments that must be corrected or refined.

5. The next stage is production control at the die manufacturer's site: tryout, spotting of working parts, die refinement, and subsequent buy-off (acceptance).

6. Home Line Tryout and preparation for launching the stamping dies into serial production at the Customer's manufacturing site.
